Job summary

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust in Basildon is recruiting an experienced electrician to carry out all aspects of electrical work to maintain health service premises across the estate. You will install, test, commission, maintain, service and repair electrical and electronic systems and related mechanical equipment, keeping a safe environment for staff, patients and visitors.

You will work both independently and as part of a trade team, travel to multiple sites, and participate

Responsibilities

• Work as an individual and on own initiative as well as part of the trade team with cross-trade working when required.
• Prioritise daily workload, ensuring tasks are carried out in a logical order by urgency and location.
• Use workshop machinery to its fullest potential.
• Be willing to travel to all sites across the estate and to different locations as the estate expands.
