A leading healthcare organization in Brighton is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee electrical services and ensure compliance with standards. The ideal candidate will have proven management experience in engineering and hold an HNC or equivalent. This permanent full-time role offers a salary range of £47,810 to £54,710, plus on-call and overtime opportunities. Join us to make a difference in patient care.
The post holder will be expected to manage a timely, safe, efficient and cost-effective estates operational and maintenance service. Responsible to the Deputy Head of Estates with line management responsibility for all operational Electrical, trade, specialist technicians, charge hands and supervisors, working within the Estates Department.
The post holder will act as a specialist on behalf of the Trust for all aspects of Engineering & Building Services and will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of the engineering infrastructure, systems and equipment. It will be expected of the post holder to develop a positive/close working relationship with all other Facilities and Estates Managers, Divisional Departments Senior Management in both Clinical and Non-Clinical areas and to participate as a member of Projects Team for all issues relating to the operational and maintenance issues.
