Electrical Engineering Trainer/Assessor
Aberdeen
36,000 to 38,000 p/a
Full-time, permanent
We are currently working with an education provider in Aberdeen who are looking for an Electrical Engineering Trainer/Assessor to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.
The position would consist of 37 hours of work per week, and would involve a mixture of hands-on workshop-based training delivery, classroom-based theory teaching, and also travelling out to engineering firms in the Aberdeen area in order to assess apprentices on their vocational skills in the workplace. Most of the delivery would be for apprentices at level 2/3, although there may be the opportunity of some HNC teaching as well if desired.
The starting salary would be between 36,000 and 38,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience), and you would also get a pension (with matched employer contributions), a business mileage allowance of 45p per mile, and a holiday allocation of 43 days (inclusive of Bank Holidays). They also have on-site accomodation available if you needed to stay away in Aberdeen during the week.
To apply for the role, you MUST have:
-A level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification (or higher)
-A passion for passing on your Electrical Engineering knowledge
While the education provider are ideally looking for someone who has a teaching qualification, they would be more than happy to fully fund the right candidate through a teaching qualification on the job if they don't already have one.
I am looking to set up interviews as soon as possible, so if you are interested and available for interview, please reply with your CV and daytime contact number and I'll get back to you, or you can always call me on (phone number removed).
Please feel free to pass on my details if you know someone who might be interested.
