Job summary

MKC Training is seeking an Experienced Electrical Engineer / Electrician to join as an Electrical Engineer Theory Trainer and inspire military students.

You will join the Trade Instructors team, delivering electrical theory and maths to levels 3 and 4, with a clear path to funded teaching qualifications. The role offers a generous salary of £46K–£49K, a 37-hour week, and extensive benefits including pension, healthcare, and on-site gym.

Qualifications

• HNC or above in Electrical Engineering with strong theoretical knowledge.
• Capable of teaching electrical theory, maths and science to levels 3 and 4.
• Previous teaching experience or having trained others in the workplace (willingness to achieve funded teaching qualifications).

Responsibilities

• Teach electrical theory, maths and science to learners in a disciplined setting.
• Deliver theory training as part of MKC Training's partnership with the Royal School of Military Engineering.
• Support learners through qualification pathways and ongoing professional development.

Electrical Trainer experience:

• HNC or above in Electrical Engineering with strong theoretical knowledge
• Capable of teaching electrical theory, maths and science to levels 3 and 4
• Previous teaching experience or having trained others in the workplace (willingness to achieve funded teaching qualifications)

• 1st Fix, Conduit, Tray work, Single Core, Multi Core Inspection, Testing and Commissioning

• A1 Assessor
• V1 Quality Assurance
