SUMMARY
Supervise Electrical Engineering team members in related activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide electrical and software engineering support for design, development, inspection, and testing of goods and services produced.
Ensure adequate staffing for electrical/software engineering activities.
Provide leadership and support for product/service development.
Monitor and define technical training needs for electrical/software engineering staff.
Provide customer communication related to engineering activities.
Perform other related duties to ensure an efficient and effective work environment.
Ensure activities comply with Atec International Standards Organization (AS9100/ISO) policies and report deviations to the appropriate manager/supervisor.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee electrical engineering, design, and support activities.
Conduct supervisory responsibilities according to organization policy and statutory regulations.
Interview, hire, train electrical/software engineering employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.

AS9100/ISO SPECIFIC DUTIES
Understand Atec Quality Policy and company objectives.
Follow AS9100/ISO procedures and work instructions.
Complete required records.
Participate in Atec Improvement Machine (AIM) and AS9100/ISO training.
Cooperate with auditors and report deviations to the manager/supervisor.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field; 8-10 years of related experience or a combination of education and experience.
Experience with LabVIEW, Ladder Logic, spreadsheets, project management, databases, presentation graphics, and word processing.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must qualify for security clearance as required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Frequent, lengthy air travel; long periods of standing, walking, and sitting.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Exposure to travel risks, electrical systems, mechanical parts, high places, weather conditions, and occasional long work hours or travel.
