Role and Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Engineering Lecturer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and training to students in Electrical Engineering. You will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons, ensuring students achieve their academic and practical potential. The successful candidate will work closely with students to support their learning, offering guidance on both theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering (or a related subject).
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
  • A proven track record in delivering Electrical Engineering courses, ideally in a further education setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and practical expertise in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • A passion for teaching and helping students develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
