A leading further and higher education provider in the West Midlands is seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineering Lecturer to join its established academic team. Overview

Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and laboratory sessions in electrical and electronic engineering, supporting student learning at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Develop and maintain teaching materials, assessments, and course content aligned with academic standards and industry needs. Contribute to curriculum design and updates to reflect emerging technologies and employer expectations. Engage in individual and collaborative research, publish academic work, and build partnerships with industry. Provide timely and constructive feedback, support student development, and participate in academic planning, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Bring

  • Hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one
  • Hold a minimum Level 2-4 in Electrical Engineering or related qualification
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English
  • Hold a IQA or equivalent
  • Experience of working in an Electrical Engineering environment

  • Experience of teaching manufacturing engineering to a range of learners
