Job summary

Invictus Group is seeking an Engineering Supervisor for a prestigious commercial building. The role combines supervisory leadership (approximately 70%) with hands-on electrical maintenance (approximately 30%), guiding a team of four engineers to deliver safe, efficient maintenance.

You will manage day-to-day operations, ensure compliance with health & safety standards, and provide technical support, staying hands-on when needed. A strong emphasis on mentoring and developing your team is expected.

Qualifications

• Requirements include a formal electrical qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3) and 18th Edition.
• Experience leading a small engineering team in a commercial building.
• Strong fault-finding and hands-on electrical maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, support and develop a team of 4 engineers.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across electrical building services.
• Plan daily workloads and ensure service levels are achieved.
• Supervise specialist contractors and review completed works.
• Ensure statutory compliance, health & safety and site procedures are followed.
• Build strong relationships with the client and provide excellent customer service.
• Produce maintenance reports and ensure accurate record keeping.
• Support the Account Manager with the smooth running of the contract.
