Job summary

Morgan Jones Recruitment Consultants is recruiting an Electrical Performance Lead in Rotherham. The role combines operational leadership with a reduced teaching commitment (around 12 hours weekly) to drive performance across Engineering and Electrical study programmes, apprenticeships and adult provision.

You will lead a team, develop staff, monitor quality and deliver engaging teaching while shaping curriculum to meet local skills needs.

Qualifications

• Experienced FE lecturer or course leader in Engineering or Electrical.
• Proven track record of strong student outcomes.
• Knowledge of QA processes, curriculum planning and data tracking.
• Coaching and development mindset for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop lecturers, assessors and support staff.
• Manage PDRs, CPD and team performance.
• Drive QA including SAR and IQA/EQA compliance.
• Monitor attendance, achievement and progression data.
• Deliver engaging teaching and act as a group tutor.
• Implement early interventions to improve outcomes.
• Support curriculum planning aligned to local skills needs.
• Engage with employers and stakeholders to enhance provision.
