Assystem in the United Kingdom is recruiting multiple Electrical Engineers to train into Commissioning Engineers for the Hinkley Point C project. You will support commissioning activities across critical electrical systems, with testing, verification and readiness work in a highly regulated environment.

The role involves LV distribution work, transformers, switchboards, UPS and battery installations, with safety and documentation responsibilities.

Job Description

We are hiring multiple Electrical Engineers to train into Commissioning Engineers.

We are looking for either commissioning engineers or hands on electrical engineers that want lots of career development.

You will support commissioning activities across critical electrical systems on a major nuclear project.

The role combines testing, verification and operational readiness activities within a highly regulated environment.

• Execute commissioning activities across LV electrical distribution and power systems
• Commission transformers, switchboards, UPS systems and large battery installations
• Apply nuclear, electrical and industrial safety requirements during commissioning activities
• Manage commissioning documentation, configuration control and technical records accurately
• Analyse test results and resolve technical deviations with stakeholders
• Support commissioning hold points and nuclear safety compliance requirements
• Coordinate activities with mechanical, process and I&C commissioning teams
• Conduct system walkdowns, punch-list closure and readiness verification activities
• Capture operational experience feedback to support continuous programme improvement
• Support development of junior engineers and commissioning technicians onsite

Qualifications

Hands on Electrical Engineering experience i.e installation, testing, maintaining
