Job description

• Managing operational maintenance, repairs, and performing Senior Authorised Person (SAP) duties in issuing HV and Low Voltage Permits to Work, often working to tight schedules.
• Overseeing defect work and HV commissioning, including managing Capital Projects with electrical contracts valued up to £20M.
• Acting as Lead SAP across multiple operational sites with diverse HV and LV switchgear, equipment, and transformers.
• Participating in an on-call rota outside of regular hours.

Base Location – Beckton STW- IG11 0AD.

36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with standby rota duties that include additional pay.

All PPE, tools, and a car allowance are provided.

What you should bring to the role

• Experience in the electrical industry, fault finding on high voltage equipment, and knowledge of BS7671 (IEE Wiring Regulations).
• Qualified and experienced as an Authorised Person, with understanding of water/wastewater processes and their electrical power systems preferred.
• Strong team player with good analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, and the ability to handle challenging issues.
• A valid UK driving license is essential due to the role's nature.
