Eko Talent is recruiting an Electrical Engineer focused on Renewable Energy for field service work in the United Kingdom. The role emphasizes electrical bias across systems such as solar, manufacturing, FMCG and packaging, with responsibilities including fault finding, testing and installation of equipment on site.

Qualifications

• Electrical fault finding, installation and testing.
• PLC fault finding and programming.
• Maintaining electrical systems and equipment on site.
• Diagnosing faults in electrical systems and components.
• Preventive maintenance according to a PPM schedule.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to renewable energy technologies.

Responsibilities

• Electrical fault finding, installation and testing.
• PLC fault finding and programming.
• Maintain all plant equipment on site, including conveyors, pumps, motors, robotics, gearboxes and valves.
• Follow a PPM schedule and record follow-up work.
• Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained daily.
• Drive continuous improvements to quality, cost and safety.

Job role: Electrical Engineer - Renewable Energy

Salary and Benefits

• Basic Salary £45,000
• Yearly Earnings £60,000 Per Annum
• Overtime + Paid Travel
• Fully Expensed Company Van
• Shift: Monday - Friday - DAYS

We have partnered with a leading innovator in various different renewable energy systems, who due to continued success are looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer.

Successful candidates will have an engineering / technical background, Electrically biased within - Renewable Energy, Solar, Manufacturing, FMCG, Food Processing, Packaging, Recycling etc.

The main responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer will include.

• Electrical fault finding, installation and testing
• PLC Fault Finding and programming
• Ensuring plant equipment functioning in the correct manner
• Maintaining all equipment on site, such as conveyors, pumps, motors, robotics, gearboxes, and valves.
• Installation of machinery onsite.
• Maintaining all mechanical and electrical process equipment.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.
• Following a PPM schedule and recording follow up work.
• Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis.
• Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety.
