Job summary

Enable Infrastructure is an experienced UK infrastructure contractor delivering specialist projects across the power, energy, rail and civil engineering sectors. We are now looking for an Electrical Engineer to support safe, compliant delivery of electrical infrastructure projects throughout the full project lifecycle.

The role offers exposure to feasibility, tender development, design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and handover, with close collaboration across engineering,

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering qualification or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience in electrical power distribution or infrastructure engineering.
• Practical understanding of HV/LV equipment and interfaces in project delivery.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, schedules, calculations.
• Working knowledge of electrical safety principles and UK requirements.
• Experience drafting or reviewing technical documentation and resolving queries.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and site personnel.
• Strong analytical, organisational and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review electrical specifications, drawings, schedules, calculations and reports.
• Support HV/LV distribution, switchgear, transformers, cables and earthing.
• Prepare single-line diagrams, layouts, cable schedules and load assessments.
• Coordinate interfaces with civil, structural, mechanical, control and communications teams.
• Support tenders, surveys, feasibility, estimates and technical scopes.
