Job summary

Diageo is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to install and maintain packaging/bottling equipment and read electrical prints for troubleshooting PLCs. You will oversee repairs, support high-speed lines, and work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems to ensure continuous production.

The role emphasizes GMP compliance, 5S housekeeping, and proactive maintenance through SAP/CMMS platforms.

Qualifications

• Professional engineer with significant experience, qualified to HND or Degree in mechanical engineering.
• Maintenance experience required and NEBOSH qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain packaging/bottling and labeling equipment.
• Read electrical prints to troubleshoot electrical systems, photoeyes, and relays.
• Read and program programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Oversee packaging facility and ensure repairs are completed and equipment is ready.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns on high-speed manufacturing lines.
• Work with hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems for troubleshooting.
