Who are we?

Within Alliance, we are a collaborative organization comprising eight partner companies (Anglian Water, Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment, Skanska, and SWECO) and our extended supply chain. We deliver over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme.

We uphold the highest standards of safe solutions across all disciplines. To support our increased workload, we are seeking several Electrical Engineers to join us.

What will you be doing as our new Electrical Engineer?

As an Electrical Engineer in our diverse and inclusive engineering team, you will provide technical input for electrical projects within the Anglian Water region.

Key responsibilities:

1. Design and specify LV electrical installations and distribution systems, including specifications, schedules, data sheets, and drawings.
2. Design and specify LV assemblies such as MCCs, switchboards, and control panels, including specifications, schedules, data sheets, and drawings.
3. Review LV electrical designs produced by contractors, including schematics, cable calculations, and termination diagrams.
4. Liaise with technical teams, construction, operations, suppliers, and utility companies.
5. Specify and select instrumentation based on process design.

Skills, experience, and behaviours:

Demonstrable experience as an Electrical Design Engineer with a strong electrical engineering background and a collaborative attitude towards solving complex problems. A full UK driving license is required for site visits.
