Job summary

Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a major UK facilities management contractor for an Electrical Engineer - Nights role. You will deliver both planned and reactive maintenance across multiple client sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The ideal candidate will hold Level 3 electrical qualifications, be familiar with inspections and testing, and possess a full UK driving licence; nights work offers stable hours and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
• Qualified in electrical inspection and testing.
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• IT literate with strong customer service skills; experience in facilities or mobile maintenance (construction sector preferred).

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical safety checks, installation inspections, and reactive repairs.
• Deliver planned maintenance across client sites.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and statutory building regulations.
• Maintain accurate records using IT systems.
• Support preventative maintenance programmes through inspections and monitoring.
