Duties/Responsibilities

The position involves ensuring the full maintenance of technical systems across client buildings, achieving service criteria through reactive and PPM tasks. The main duties include delivering electrical services effectively, efficiently, and professionally to satisfy clients.

Location: London

Salary: £43,000 per annum

Working hours: Monday - Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm, 40 hours per week.

The role also includes carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across the estate, maintaining a wide range of building systems. Qualifications required include City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent NVQ, C&G 2382-10 18th Edition, with preferred but not mandatory C&G 2391-10 Inspection & Testing, and C&G 2391-20 Design & Verification. Experience with LV distribution systems, standby power systems, and safe working practices is essential.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing planned and unplanned electrical activities to ensure contract efficiency and support client facilities.
• Carrying out testing, inspection, defect surveys, minor installations, and commissioning.
• Providing assistance to third parties and liaising with the Helpdesk for urgent tasks.
• Participating in on-call duties and working overtime as needed.

Person specifications:

• Qualified and competent in electrical testing and inspection (C&G 2391-52 or equivalent).
• Experience in building services, especially in data centers and communication systems, is desirable.
• Strong communication skills, a professional appearance, and a flexible, motivated attitude.
• Willingness to attain further competencies such as HV and LV electrical work and confined spaces.
