Job summary

Nuclearinst is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support major infrastructure and operational projects at the Dounreay site. You will own engineering activities, develop and maintain plans and procedures, provide governance, and ensure delivery complies with safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• HND in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with significant practical experience.
• Experience in regulated industrial environments is required.
• Strong planning, organisational and communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of industrial or nuclear safety and related legislation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical engineering activities across the full project lifecycle.
• Provide technical governance, design assurance and specification development for infrastructure projects.
• Manage contractors, project works and stakeholder relationships to ensure successful project delivery.
