Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Glasgow is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Design & Advanced Technology (D&AT) Practice. You will contribute to the design and delivery of electrical systems for diverse sectors, with mentoring and professional development opportunities.

The role offers hybrid working (3 days in office/site) and a pathway toward Chartership, with collaboration across disciplines and locations to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Working towards Chartership or Incorporated Engineer.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and delivery of innovative electrical engineering solutions across multiple sectors.
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, specifications and design documentation.
• Support the design and development of electrical systems and infrastructure, increasing responsibilities with experience.
• Provide technical and project guidance to graduates and apprentices, supporting their development.
• Attend and participate in client meetings, design reviews and project workshops.
• Gain project experience through site surveys, inspections and construction-stage support activities.
• Mentor junior staff and engage with technical networks to share best practice.
