Job summary

Verelogic is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer in Twickenham to lead the design and delivery of grid connections for renewable energy projects, including solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Qualifications

• Strong background as an Electrical Engineer or qualified Electrician with grid connection delivery experience.
• Proven experience on solar and/or BESS project connections within the UK.
• Familiarity with electricity network connections and infrastructure delivery organisations.
• Solid understanding of UK distribution network requirements and grid connection processes.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems for renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and support the engineering of grid connection projects for solar and BESS developments
• Work across all stages of project delivery, from planning and design through to execution and commissioning
• Liaise with stakeholders involved in grid connection works and infrastructure delivery
• Ensure compliance with UK electrical standards and distribution network requirements
• Provide technical input to support project feasibility, design optimisation, and delivery strategies
