Job summary

Seagate Technology in Derry/Londonderry, Northern Ireland, is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Facilities) to join the Facilities Team. You will contribute to the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems supporting cleanroom manufacturing and office space.

The role requires HV/LV distribution experience, asset maintenance planning, and coordination with contractors on shutdowns and projects.

Qualifications

• Hons Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams on large projects.
• Strong understanding of EHS requirements and safe systems of work.
• Ability to present technical justifications to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Outline and assist in design of LV/HV networks for capacity and risk.
• Plan HV/LV electrical shutdowns for site maintenance.
• Develop and implement asset maintenance procedures for HV/LV networks.
• Coordinate with contractors and other departments on shutdowns and projects.
• Ensure documentation accuracy for electrical plant and systems.
