The ideal candidate will have a valid ECS Gold Card or be working towards one. Duties include commissioning AC and Rapid DC chargers and producing snagging reports. Flexibility with travel and overnight stays is essential.

Job description

Overview

Field Engineer (EV Charging). We are looking for a Field Engineer to join a world leading manufacturer of EV Charging Equipment. The role will be covering the advertised region and suitable candidates will ideally have an ECS Gold Card (or be working towards).

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, maintenance and troubleshooting activity across the UK ensuring compliance to electrical regulation BS 7671 - current edition IET Wiring Regulations
• Commission and configure AC and Rapid DC chargers at client sites.
• Producing snagging reports and communicating directly with client, OEMs and contractors.
• Carry out commissioning related activity across the UK, producing the required commissioning paperwork and communicating directly with client, OEMs and contractors.

Essential Experience

• Electrically qualified ideally with a valid ECS Gold Card
• 2391 Inspection and Testing
• Previous experience working in commercial and domestic environments
• Flexible on travel and overnight stays

Desirable Experience

• Experienced with electrical installation, maintenance and service
• Experience with EV Charging equipment
