Job summary

RSE Controls (Saftronics) is expanding its engineering team and seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for a permanent position. You’ll be responsible for design deliverables, procurement, scope estimates and site surveys, while supporting clients.

The role requires design office experience, knowledge of UK/EU standards, and strong AutoCAD skills. A full UK driving licence is essential, with a focus on delivery across projects.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a design office as an engineer.
• Knowledge of British and European design standards.
• Ability to produce design calculations as required.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experienced with AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to discuss specific job requirements.
• Design systems and products, researching suitable solutions and estimating costs and timescales.
• Reading design specifications and technical drawings.
• Producing AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical drawings.
• Prepare final documentation (O&M Manual, As Built Drawings etc.)
• Material requisitioning.
• Preparing Risk Assessments and Method Statements, alongside site documentation.
• Carry out site surveys when required in conjunction
