Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is recruiting a Critical Services Engineer to join our Global Account Team in London. You will deliver and maintain day-to-day PPM tasks, reactive and subcontractor maintenance, and support the shift team to meet client objectives.

The successful candidate will have electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications, several years’ relevant experience, and a self-motivated, customer‑facing attitude. Sterling checks are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum academic qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Several years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Self-motivated with a can-do customer attitude.
• Sterling background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Support the shift team in provision of service.
• Day-to-day involvement with Building Management System (BMS).
• Undertake and maintain day-to-day PPM records.
• General housekeeping duties.
• Promote best working practices.
• Maintain compliance with H&S policies.
• Support colleagues and maintain motivation towards client, contract and company objectives.
• Proactively resolve day-to-day problems.
• Monitor and review permits and working practices on maintenance activities.
• Review and understand emergency procedures.

The successful candidate will deliver / maintain day to dayPPM tasks, reactive and sub contractor maintenance. To be a member of asuccessful team who are committed to achieving the clients and companyobjectives.

Please Note: This role is on the following Continental Shift Pattern - 4 days on, 6 days off, 4 nights on, 4 off, 3 days on, 3 nights on, 4 days off (07.00-19.00 - 19.00-07.00-. 42 hours per week).

Job Role

• Tosupport the shift team provision of service.
• Dayto Day involvement with Building Management System.
• Undertakeand maintain day to day PPM records.
• Undertakegeneral housekeeping duties.
• Toinstill best working practices.
• Maintaincompliance to all H & S policies in all areas.
• Tosupport colleagues, ensuring their motivation and commitment to the client,contract and company.

PersonSpecification

• Candidateswill be time served and have as a minimum, an academic qualification inElectrical / Mechanical Engineering.
• Applicantsare expected to have several years prior experience some of which will havebeen in a similar role and have good customer skills.
• Itis essential staff are self-motivated and promote a “Can do” customer attitudeat all times.
• Candidatesmust complete/pass Sterling back checks for the role
