We're seeking a driven and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll design and program industrial automation systems, work with cutting-edge technologies, and collaborate with clients and engineers on mission-critical automation projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Control System Design: Develop and engineer custom electrical control panels, select components, and create test strategies based on customer requirements.
  • PLC & HMI Programming: Write, test, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI applications (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) for seamless automated operations.
  • Automation Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve system and programming issues to ensure operational efficiency and minimal downtime.
  • Standards Compliance: Ensure all designs meet UL 508A, NEC, IEC, and relevant industry regulations.
  • Collaboration: Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and operational guides.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, electrical design, or control systems engineering
  • Proven expertise in PLC and HMI programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, Siemens TIA Portal, RSLogix)
  • Proficient with AutoCAD for electrical schematic design; EPLAN experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of UL 508A, NEC, and IEC standards
  • Excellent problem-solving, technical analysis, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and project coordination skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% for site visits and commissioning
