Boden Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer to maintain electrical systems across multiple sites in Bristol. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, carry out inspections, fault diagnosis, and upgrades including EV charging infrastructure.

You will hold essential City & Guilds qualifications, maintain lightning protection and earthing, complete EICRs, and work with an ECS Gold Card and UK driving licence.

Formación

• Must have electrical apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition wiring regs).
• City & Guilds 2391-52 or equivalent inspection/testing.
• City & Guilds 2377 and 2919-01 or PAT/EV charging certs.
• Competent in lightning protection, earthing and emergency lighting testing.
• Experience in commercial/industrial electrical maintenance with fault finding.
• ECS Gold Card or equivalent and full UK driving licence.
• IPAF or PASMA certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance and respond to faults and breakdowns.

• Maintain distribution equipment and undertake installations and minor projects.

As an Electrical Engineer in Bristol, you'll deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple operational sites. The work spans inspections, fault diagnosis and electrical upgrades, including EV charging infrastructure.

The Role

As the Electrical Engineer, you'll:

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance and respond to electrical faults and breakdowns.
• Complete EICRs, identify defects and carry out testing and certification.
• Test portable appliances and emergency lighting, recording results and remedial work.
• Inspect EV charging, lightning protection and earthing systems within your authorisation.
• Maintain distribution equipment and undertake installations, alterations and minor electrical projects.
• Support planned shutdowns using approved isolation and safe working procedures.
• Record completed work in the maintenance system and liaise with site stakeholders.

About You

To be successful as the Electrical Engineer, you'll have:

• Essential: A recognised electrical apprenticeship, relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
• Essential: City & Guilds 2382 for the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Essential: City & Guilds 2391-52, or a recognised inspection and testing equivalent.
• Essential: City & Guilds 2377 and 2919-01, or recognised PAT and EV charging equivalents with relevant manufacturer training.
• Essential: Relevant competency in lightning protection, earthing and emergency lighting testing.
• Essential: Commercial or industrial electrical maintenance experience, including fault finding and remedial works.
• Essential: An ECS Gold Card or equivalent trade competence, and a full UK driving licence.
• Ideally: IPAF or PASMA certification, or experience coordinating electrical upgrades and specialist subcontractors.
