Job summary

OSL Consulting is looking for a skilled professional to support site with Electrical Asset Engineering services. The role involves conducting various Asset Engineering activities and supporting a DSEAR project on the client’s site.

Applicants must have a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and industry-related qualifications. Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards is essential, and eligibility to work in the UK is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical and Electronic Engineering is necessary.
• Incorporated/Chartered membership of relevant institute is preferred.
• Good working knowledge of industry-related legislation and Standards required.

Responsibilities

• Support site with Electrical Asset Engineering services.
• Conduct business as usual Asset Engineering activities.
• Support a DSEAR project on client’s site.

Job description

The role is to support site with Electrical Asset Engineering services, you will conduct business as usual Asset Engineering activities, including supporting a DSEAR project on our end client’s site.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
• Incorporated / Chartered membership of relevant institute.
• Good working knowledge of EC&I industry related legislation and Standards i.e. EAWR1989, DSEAR2002, BS7671, BSEN 60079, BSEN 60947, BSEN 62271, ETC.
• Compex Ex12 &14 or Equivalent.
• Experience in a 24/7 industrial environment including:
  • Positive SHE commitment & contributions Maintenance contract management.
  • Operations interface & procedure.
  • Legislative, best practice standards & insurance compliance.
