Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Ulverston, Cumbria

Are you ready to take your engineering career to the next level? Our client, a leading company in manufacturing high-voltage sub-station protection and control equipment, is expanding its dynamic Engineering team and looking for a passionate Electrical Engineer to join them in Ulverston!

About the Role:
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the electrical design of customer orders. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects from inception to completion, collaborating with both customers and internal teams to deliver the most economical technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Lead Design Engineers and other Mechanical/Electrical Engineers.
  • Interpret customer technical drawings and requirements.
  • Produce manufacturing wiring diagrams and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Issue necessary drawings for client review and approval.
  • Coordinate with the Production department to address Manufacturing and Test queries.
  • Mentor and assist trainee engineers.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience).

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Electrical/Electronic Degree.
  • Experience in a manufacturing/utilities environment.
  • Factory acceptance testing experience.
  • Commercial experience.
