At Cavendish Nuclear, we’re working to create a safe and secure world. Join us as an Electrical Engineer at our Hartlepool site.

The Role

As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll support EDF and be responsible for developing and implementing fuel route works. Your daily tasks will include technical fault finding, reporting, work pack specification, and maintenance oversight.

  • Apply management practices for operations and maintenance.
  • Ensure high standards in Fuel Route work preparation and execution.
  • Assist in preparing and executing Fuel Route work following safety policies.
  • Operate in compliance with site license requirements and regulations.

This is a full-time role, 37 hours/week, based at Hartlepool Power Station, County Durham.

Experience required:

  • Electrical engineering background
  • Knowledge of power generation
  • Technical fault finding skills
  • Understanding of safe systems of work

Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree in relevant discipline preferred
