Pareto is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join us on a permanent basis.

This role reports to the Work Space Manager on site and includes supervising an engineer in training.
Key Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering.

- Experience in designing new systems and modifications to existing installations.
- Electrically biased with a good understanding of mechanical and building services.
- Knowledge of building work risks and hazards, including asbestos.
- Minimum of L8 Awareness formal training.
- Strong understanding of legal compliance and maintaining high standards.
- Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
- Innovative mindset for improving systems and processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows systems and GDrive.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee timely completion of maintenance and reactive tasks related to client assets, serving as the first response for M&E and fabric issues.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the efficiency and safety of M&E installations, including statutory and mandatory requirements, liaising with client staff.
- Maintain accurate records and manage documentation for statutory testing, inspections, technical records, and reports.
- Perform maintenance on M&E services, electrical systems, heating, hot water systems, and supervise works on fire alarms, security systems, lifts, and other relevant systems.
- Ensure work completion meets standards, budgets, and client satisfaction, providing regular updates to the Pareto FM Account Manager and client liaison.
- Support subcontractors in routine and emergency maintenance, both during and outside normal hours.
- Assist in setting maintenance priorities, planning, and budgeting.
- Prepare schedules, specifications, and oversee project work, including auditing and supervising completion.
- Provide technical M&E advice and support to the client as needed.
- Collaborate with project professionals and contribute maintenance information.
- Promote best practices in M&E maintenance and procedures across the estate.
- Participate in site and property team activities, providing technical input on security, safety, risk assessments, and utility infrastructure.
- Implement the Asset Management Plan to guide estate works.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the client and Pareto FM management.
- Serve as the primary contact for the client when issues arise.
