Job Description

Impact Recruitment are currently working with a market leading business who specialise in the construction industry globally. They are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to support the Engineering Team.


Our client is a team of engineers who specialise in the design, development, manufacture, commissioning and site operation for a range of specialist construction projects around the world. They provide the complete service of construction engineering, supply of equipment and site supervision. With offices based around the world they are a growing and developing company, with opportunity to progress your career.


Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (Depending on experience)


Location: Rushden Northamptonshire


Hours: Monday - Friday working 9am-5:30pm


Contract: Permanent


Responsibilities:



  • Design and develop electrical and control systems for industrial and field applications.

  • Create and interpret detailed electrical circuit diagrams and schematics.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical design standards, safety regulations, and industry legislation.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations for new equipment and system designs.

  • Install, test, and commission electrical equipment in both workshop and field environments.

  • Provide technical support to customers both remotely and on-site, ensuring effective troubleshooting and resolution.

  • Develop and deliver training programs for customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and repair procedures.

  • Perform routine and corrective maintenance on electrical and control systems in the workshop.


Required Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in designing and building electrical systems, including 400V AC power circuits and 24V DC control circuits.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD for creating and modifying electrical schematics and layout drawings.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Possession of a valid driver's license.

  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally at short notice.
