Job summary

Aspirare Recruitment in Prestwick is seeking an electrician for a 40-hour week on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The role involves planned and reactive electrical maintenance across an industrial site, with early and late shift options.

Expect a basic weekly pay of £840, plus overtime at 1.5x. FMCG/industrial experience and a recognised electrical NVQ are preferred qualifications for this permanent-to-be position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Maintenance Engineer.
• Experience within FMCG, automated manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Diagnose, fault-find and repair industrial equipment.
• Maintain control panels, wiring, motors and electrical systems.
• Maintain plant machinery including conveyors, process machinery and steam boilers.
• Complete electrical installation and system upgrade work.
• Respond efficiently to breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
