Duties:

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Carry out testing & installation works.
• Electrical Fault finding and fixing.
• Respond to all electrical & building service related reactive maintenance issues.
• Keep the CAFM System updated with all works carried out.
• Work with sub-contractors will all aspects off PPM's and Plant works.
• Book materials out from Vans/Stores and assign to correct job number
• Adhere to the Health and Safety at Work Act.
• Converse and Liase with relevant managers and supervisors to update them on status of works to be completed and statuses on any delays.
• Travel around site via the onsite Pool Van due to size of campus.

Requirements:

• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (2330/2360) or Equivalent
• City & Guilds 18th Edition BS7671
• City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection or equivalent
• 3 years of Experience as an Electrician Minimum
• 3 years of Experience working in an industrial or commercial environment minimum
• Ability to complete installation of electrical trunking systems, conduit and cable trays.
• Health & Safety Knowledge and understanding
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Strong Administration skills for documentation purposes
• Flexible approach to work
• Ability to obtain a DBS.
• Driving Licence Preferred

Desirable Extra's

• ECS / CSCS Card would be advantageous
• IPAF 3a & 3b would be advantageous
• PASMA would be advantageous
