Qualifications

  • HND, degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
  • Familiarity with design software: Amtech, Hevacomp, Dialux.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and ideally Revit MEP.

As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, youll deliver high-quality technical solutions on projects for both public and private sector clients across sectors such as education, healthcare, defence, pharmaceutical, and commercial. Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of electrical building services designs across a varied project portfolio
  • Prepare designs, feasibility studies, reports and contract documents
  • Assist with building analysis and design calculations
  • Liaise with clients, contractors and other design disciplines
  • Ensure work complies with health and safety standards and best practice
  • Work closely with senior engineers and contribute to the wider teams technical delivery
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • HND, degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
  • A good understanding of BS7671
  • Familiarity with design software such as Amtech/Hevacomp/Dialux
  • Experience with AutoCAD and ideally Revit MEP
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach
  • Knowledge of fire alarm and emergency lighting design
  • Awareness of structured wiring and security system design
  • Understanding of current legislation and sustainable building standards (Low/Zero Carbon Technologies, BREEAM)
