Electrical Engineer - Ambrosia Premier Foods

Location: Ambrosia Creamery - Premier Foods

Salary: £55,000 per year (+ Overtime)

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Alternating Days & Nights)

What you'll be doing:

  1. Diagnosing and fixing electrical faults to keep production running smoothly.
  2. Programming, fault-finding, and optimizing Siemens PLCs.
  3. Supporting the wider team with mechanical maintenance when needed - we believe in a multi-skilled approach!
  4. Working on planned and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  5. Contributing to continuous improvement projects.

The ingredients we're looking for:

  1. Qualified Electrical Engineer (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent).
  2. Experience with Siemens PLCs - programming, troubleshooting, and fault-finding.
  3. Familiar with process controls and instrumentation is a bonus.
  4. A proactive approach with a willingness to support mechanical maintenance.
  5. Experience in an FMCG/manufacturing environment is a big plus.
  6. A positive, team-first attitude.
