Electrical Engineer - Leicester

Salary: to cGBP45k neg dep exp + generous benefits

Our client has been established for almost 30 years and specializes in the manufacture, installation, and service of a range of thermal management solutions for an impressive range of customers throughout the UK and Europe across diverse applications and industry sectors.

As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth for 2024 and beyond, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer to complement their professional team and support them in the design and development of a portfolio of solutions including air blast coolers, water heat exchangers, and recirculation chillers.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop electrical schematics, ideally using AutoCAD Electrical.
2. Perform electrical design and development activities within an engineering manufacturing environment.
3. Capture and analyze test data as required.
4. Work both autonomously and as part of a Leicester-based team.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Qualified to at least HND or above in a relevant engineering discipline (electrical, instrumentation & controls, mechatronics, or similar).
2. At least 3 years of experience in electrical design and development.
3. Practical experience of wiring and developing machines, working with associated controllers and PLCs.
4. Excellent communication skills at all levels (both written and verbal).
