Job summary

LOGICALPS is recruiting an experienced industrial electrician for a temp-to-perm position based at sites in Irvine, Meadowhead and Inverclyde. The role runs Monday to Friday, with 08:00–16:30 hours and an on-call rotation of 1 in 3 weeks. Start date is October 2026, with a comprehensive benefits package and a company van.

Duties include general maintenance of pumps, motors, level controllers, valves, actuators and pneumatics, at wastewater treatment works in the Irvine area. References required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Apprenticeship / City & Guilds / NVQ in electrical discipline.
• 18th edition (BS 7671).
• 2+ years of industrial electrical experience.
• References available on request.

On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for an experienced industrial electrician for a temp to perm position.

Details are as follows:

• Start date: October 2026
• Temp - perm - permanent after a qualifying 14 weeks period
• Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30
• On call required 1 in every 3 weeks
• Waste water treatment works in Irvine, Meadowhead, and Inverclyde
• Duties include general maintenance & preventative duties working on pumps, motors, level controllers, valves, actuators, pneumatics, etc

On Offer:

• Salary of £40,871.84 per annum
• Additional on call payment of £140 for the on call week
• If called out - paid at overtime of £28.30/hour Mon-Thurs, £31.32/hour Fri & Sat, £37.74/hour Sundays
• Company van provided
• Company pension scheme, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), and other company benefits provided

Requirements:

• Driving Licence
• Apprenticeship/city & guilds/NVQ in an electrical discipline
• 18th edition
• 2 years+ previous industrial experience
• References must be provided
