EDF Energy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to help deliver solar PV, battery storage and private wire projects across the full lifecycle, from development through to commissioning. The role requires strong technical leadership and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to meet safety, quality and commercial objectives.
You will work on projects UK-wide in a hybrid setup, spending time at offices in London or Edinburgh and visiting project sites.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality energy infrastructure across the UK and Ireland.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll support the delivery of solar PV, battery storage, and private wire projects across their full lifecycle. From early development and design through to construction and commissioning, your expertise will help ensure projects are safe, compliant, and commercially effective.
Alongside a competitive salary and potential for an annual bonus, this is a hybrid role with a mix of home working and time in our #London or #Edinburgh offices one or two days per week. You'll also travel to project sites and other locations as needed to support delivery and collaboration.
You’ll work within a collaborative engineering team, contributing to technical reviews, guiding consultants and contractors, and supporting continuous improvement. Your work will help maintain high standards while enabling the delivery of complex renewable energy projects at pace.
