Electrical Engineer

Location: Derby

Salary: £40,000

Our client is looking to add an experienced electrical engineer to their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading building services provider on a large contract based in Derby. They seek an engineer who is proactive and committed to maintaining high standards.

This position involves planned and reactive maintenance for building services. To be considered, you should hold relevant electrical qualifications such as EAL or City & Guilds, 18th edition, and testing and inspection certification (2391).

Responsibilities

1. Perform PPMs and reactive maintenance
2. Work with single and three-phase power systems, motors, emergency lighting, fire alarm testing, pumps, and BMS operation
3. Isolate plant and systems safely
4. Carry out repairs and ensure compliance with safety regulations
5. Follow safe working practices and uphold quality standards
6. Complete logbooks and RAMS documentation
7. Raise and close jobs on PDA devices

Requirements

• Fully qualified in electrical installations/engineering with regulation qualifications (C&G, EAL, NVQ or equivalent)
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a commercial environment (installations or maintenance)
• Client-facing attitude
• Resident within a commutable distance to Derby

Salary and Benefits

• £40,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
