Vehicle Technician - Field-Based (Auto Electrical / CCTV Installations)
Location- West Midlands
Hours: 37-40 per week - Flexible to cover night shifts
Salary: GBP30,000-GBP37,000 + company vehicle

We are seeking a field-based Vehicle Technician with an auto-trade or auto-electrical background to deliver high-quality installations and maintenance on vehicle CCTV and driver assistance systems across a diverse client base.

The role of Vehicle Technician will involve

  • Handling daily fault reports
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, including vehicle CCTV and driver aid systems
  • Planned maintenance activities
  • Installation projects across bus, coach, rail, and mixed fleets
  • Communicating professionally with customers and garage engineers

The ideal candidate for the Vehicle Technician will have:

  • Experience in vehicle technology or auto-electrical environments
  • Confident diagnosing and repairing auto electrical and driver aid system fault
  • Bus, coach, or rail electrical experience advantageous
  • Flexibility to work occasional night shifts as needed
  • UK Driving Licence
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent customer communication
