Job description

Electrical Engineer Overview

We are working with one of the UK s largest Energy & Asset Management companies in the UK who have over 30 years experience installing and maintaining District Heating Networks, Energy Centres and large scale Plant Rooms. They are looking for an experienced Commercial Electrician to come on board who would be interested in training up on plant room systems such as Commercial Boilers, Heat Pumps, Biomass, Steam Systems, BMS Controls and Heat Interface Units.

Day to day you will be working in commercial premises such as Hospitals, Universities, Factories, Manufacturing Plants and District Heating main plant rooms. Within the Commercial sites, you will carry out testing, maintenance, servicing and repair electrical breakdowns on all plant room systems. Within the district heating side, the central plant room provides heating and power to an area of residential properties. Again, you will work on the plant room systems such as boiler controls, pumps, pressurisation units, BMS and controls and more. They also manage several Solar Farms in the area which they carry out all Operations & Maintenance works on. They will train you on Solar PV works in order to complete this.

Electrical Engineer Requirements

• 18th Edition
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical Engineering
• 2391 (advantageous)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• A willingness to learn and develop

Electrical Engineer Salary & Overview

• Salary up to GBP50,000 (OTE GBP60K+)
• An excellent OTE with Salary, Travel Pay, Lunch Allowance, Overtime and Bonuses
