You will be responsible for the installation of hardware/software, electrical fault finding, and working with multi-functional teams in the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will have electrical qualifications and experience with high/low voltage systems. This role offers a competitive salary between £38,000 - £42,000 DOE.

Overview

Electrical Engineer — Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 DOE. Orion are currently working with an innovative company based in Doncaster who are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with experience within the automotive industry.

Location: Doncaster

Responsibilities
  • Installation of hardware and software into service vehicles
  • Wiring up touch screen devices in service vehicles
  • Working with a multi-functional team
  • Electrical fault finding
  • Root cause analysis
  • Working with high and low voltage systems
  • Manage continuous improvement projects to increase product performance
Experience / Qualifications
  • Electrical qualifications equivalent to level 3 - Essential
  • 18th Edition – Desirable
  • City & Guilds 2391 – Desirable
  • Experience with electrical installation of software & hardware
  • Experience with the installation of batteries, inverters, relays, sensors etc
  • Wiring in service vehicles
  • Electrical fault finding
  • Root cause analysis
  • Experience with low & high voltage electrical systems
  • Experience creating and maintaining SOPs
  • Candidates must be able to read and work from electrical drawings
Shifts

Monday – Wednesday: 06:00 – 16:00; Thursday: 06:00 – 15:00
