Job summary

A large Facilities and Maintenance Company near Cowes is seeking an experienced electrical maintenance engineer to join a static site. The role offers a competitive salary up to £38k, with opportunities for overtime, progression, and ongoing training. Candidates must hold relevant electrical qualifications, including NVQ Level 3 and 18th edition, and preferably have 2391 Test and inspection. Qualifications

  • Fully electrically qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with AM2 if required.
  • 18th edition certification is a must.
  • 2391 Test and inspection is highly desirable.
  • Experience working within occupied offices.
  • Driving Licence is required.
  • Must be able to obtain DBS.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out all PPM's and reactive works on site.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with task schedules.
  • Daily monitoring of all main plant and equipment.
  • Establish good relationships with employees and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual commitments.
  • Manage the on-site CAFM and Concept systems.
  • Resolve client issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Be prepared for a call-out rota for emergencies.

My client are a large Facilities and maintenance company who operate in various sectors across commercial sector. They are currently looking for an experienced electrical maintenance engineer to join an established team on a static site near Cowes, Newport Road. This role is Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Carry out all PPM's and reactive works on site
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices
  • Ensure the responsible sites are fully compliant and follow industry best practices.
  • Daily monitoring and responsibility of all main plant and equipment within buildings
  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all employees and clients
  • Maintain the professional image always, and promote services.
  • Ensure All subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes.
  • Ensure you manage the site logbook system and all paperwork is kept up to date
  • To oversee the management of the on-site CAFM and Concept systems and ensure all PPM and reactive tasks are completed within SLA.
  • Receiving client issues and resolving these issues effectively without disruption to business or compromising client relationships.
  • Be prepared for inclusion on a call out rota for out of hour's emergency response.
