Electrical Engineer – Building Services

We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a well-established MEP consultancy based in Southwark. You'll be involved in the design and delivery of high-end retail, hospitality, residential, and commercial projects in the UK and internationally.

About the Role:

You’ll take the lead on designing and coordinating electrical systems that meet both technical and aesthetic requirements. From concept to completion, you’ll collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to deliver integrated solutions for luxury environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and specification of electrical systems including:
• Lighting (internal, display, and external)
• Small Power & LV Distribution
• Fire Alarms, Sprinklers & Security Systems
• AV, Data & Digital Signage
• Renewable Technologies (e.g. PV, battery storage)
• Produce and review technical drawings and reports
• Conduct site inspections and support project delivery
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and design teams
• Mentor junior engineers and delegate tasks
• Monitor timelines and budgets across multiple projects

Requirements:

• Proven experience in electrical design for building services
• Proficient in DIALux, RELUX, Trimble/Amtech
• Skilled in AutoCAD and Revit
