Electrical Engineer

Location: Biggleswade

Salary: GBP40K-GBP50K

My client is a renowned global innovator in slitting and rewinding technology, offering high-performance machinery tailored for the flexible packaging, label stock, and converting sectors. Their cutting-edge solutions are engineered to deliver exceptional efficiency, accuracy, and productivity, empowering clients to achieve optimal performance while minimizing material waste.

Role Requirements:

  1. Develop and program PLC control systems, preferably using Allen Bradley or Siemens.
  2. Electrical Schematic experience - E-Plan is desirable (AutoCAD and other CAD package experience will be considered).
  3. System integration.
  4. Participate in the commissioning of products, fault find and create solutions.
  5. The completion of Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
  6. Travel within Schengen countries as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 2-5 years of controls engineering (hardware) role.
  2. PLC Programming Experience.
  3. Experience with end-to-end projects and the ability to work on a project from scratch.
  4. Eligibility for visa-free travel within Schengen countries is highly desirable.
