Job summary

Danfoss in Edinburgh, UK, is seeking an Electrical & Electronics Engineer to join our Digital Displacement team and contribute to next‑gen hydraulic technology. You will work on design, validation, and integration of electronic products, sensors, and control systems, supporting high standards of performance and reliability.

On-site collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, from concept through qualification to customer applications, will be key.

Qualifications

Experience designing, developing, and testing PCBAs or electronic hardware.
Knowledge of electrical components, sensors, or electronic control systems.
Hands-on experience with engineering tools such as Altium, Orcad, PADS, MATLAB, Ansys, or LTSpice.
Ability to create technical documentation, test reports, and engineering records.
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

Responsibilities

Design and validate electrical and electronic components, helping deliver reliable products for new product development projects.
Develop test specifications and verification plans that ensure products meet international and company standards.
Perform qualification, verification, and emissions testing, generating clear reports that support engineering decisions.
Collaborate with systems, software, and product engineers to successfully integrate electronics into customer solutions.
Drive improvements in test methods, standards, and verification processes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
