Job summary

Danfoss in Edinburgh, UK, is seeking an Electrical & Electronics Engineer to join our Digital Displacement team and contribute to next‑gen hydraulic technology. You will work on design, validation, and integration of electronic products, sensors, and control systems, supporting high standards of performance and reliability.

On-site collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, from concept through qualification to customer applications, will be key.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing, and testing PCBAs or electronic hardware.
• Knowledge of electrical components, sensors, or electronic control systems.
• Hands-on experience with engineering tools such as Altium, Orcad, PADS, MATLAB, Ansys, or LTSpice.
• Ability to create technical documentation, test reports, and engineering records.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

• Develop test specifications and verification plans that ensure products meet international and company standards.

As an Electrical & Electronics Test Engineer, you will support the design, validation, and introduction of innovative electronic products, sensors, and control systems. Your work will directly influence product performance, quality, and reliability, ensuring solutions meet the highest industry and customer standards. Working on-site alongside a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will help bring new technologies from concept through qualification and into successful customer applications.

• Knowledge of electrical components, sensors, or electronic control systems.
• Hands-on experience with one or more engineering tools such as Altium, Orcad, PADS, MATLAB, Ansys, or LTSpice.
• Ability to create technical documentation, test reports, and engineering records with a high level of accuracy.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
