HORIBA UK Ltd are looking for someone to provide electronics & electrical expertise on the creation, design, production, installation and support of scientific electro-mechanical systems for Horiba’s market leading order book of industry-leading customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will support the design / development of new systems, circuits and devices in accordance with established company procedures. Undertake electrical conceptual and detailed design of PCBs and electrical systems, with consideration to product requirements and to relevant industry directives (EMCD, LVD). Prepare technical specifications, test procedures and reports to company and customer standards and liaise with suppliers to ensure requirements are communicated effectively, to ensure appropriate selection of materials and services.
SKILLS :
We are looking for a proactive self-starter with a background in electrical/ electronics engineering. Experience of hardware and PCB conceptual / detailed design, and component selection. You will have practical skills including cable manufacture, soldering and assembly, as well as hands on experience with prototype testing and fault finding (hardware and software).
If you also have any experience with mechatronics that may come in useful!
