Job summary

A facilities management company is seeking a Building/Utilities Technician with extensive mechanical and electrical experience to ensure reliable operation of essential services at a state-of-the-art facility in Hertfordshire. The role involves conducting maintenance, investigating system faults, and supporting energy efficiency initiatives. Candidates should have an electrical or mechanical qualification and proficiency with CAFM/BMS systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with AHUs, FCUs, LTHW, motor control logic.
• Proficiency in Health & Safety and safe systems of work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine PPM, corrective and emergency maintenance.
• Work with BMS to monitor alarms and support system diagnostics.
• Investigate and repair M&E faults to root cause level.

Skills

Multi-skilled technician with strong mechanical and electrical background

Proficiency with CAFM/BMS systems

Strong understanding of Health & Safety

Education

Electrical qualification (BS7671 & C&G 2391) or mechanical engineering qualification
