About us: You will join the Laboratory Test Means Electrical/Electronic Design team within the Laboratory Test Means Architecture and Integration. You will have the opportunity to develop soft and technical skills in end-to-end activities, including designing, building, and testing for aircraft that are already flying and those that may fly in the future.
The Laboratory Test Means Architecture and Integration team is responsible for the design, development, manufacturing, and maintenance of all Laboratory Test Means (LTM) within the Systems Integration Test perimeter. The team is transnational, with members in Toulouse, Hamburg, Bremen, and Filton. The LTMs cover: Virtual Platforms; Functional Integration Benches/ System Integration Benches; Type 0 means (e.g., LG 0) representative of the aircraft; ad-hoc test benches for various purposes (e.g., rapid prototyping).
Activities may involve any Airbus commercial aircraft programme, other Airbus entity programmes, or R&T work. Some travel to Airbus sites or supplier facilities may be required. Opportunities to develop soft skills through development tasks including school liaison events and departmental activities.
